5 Summer Snack Recipes with Nuts & Dried Fruit

on June 02, 2026

The best summer snacks travel well, need no refrigeration, and are genuinely satisfying. Roasted nuts and dried fruit tick all three boxes. Here are five easy recipes for garden parties, picnics, or just a warm afternoon.

1. Summer nut and fruit trail mix (no recipe, just ratios)

The 3:1:1 ratio: three parts roasted nuts, one part dried fruit, one part something sweet or crunchy.

Mix and portion into jars. Keeps at room temperature for 2 weeks. Better than anything pre-made.

2. Honey cashew and strawberry yoghurt bowl

Serves 2 | 5 minutes

Ingredients: 300g thick Greek yoghurt, 40g Honey Roasted Cashews (broken), 30g dried strawberries, 1 tbsp honey, fresh mint.

Method: Divide yoghurt between two bowls. Scatter cashews and strawberries, drizzle with honey, finish with mint. The cashews provide protein and healthy fats; the dried strawberries give an intense fruit hit.

3. Summer nut board for entertaining

Serves 6–8 | 10 minutes to assemble

Place on a large wooden board: Honey & Chilli Cashews, Roasted Pistachios, Honey Roasted Pecans, Dried Apricots, Medjool Dates, sharp cheddar, water crackers. Fill three small bowls and arrange — 10 minutes, looks professional. The sweet heat from the Honey & Chilli Cashews contrasts beautifully with creamy pistachios and buttery pecans.

4. Walnut and banana smoothie (no powder needed)

Serves 1 | 3 minutes

Ingredients: 1 frozen banana, 25g Walnuts, 250ml oat milk, 1 tsp honey, pinch of cinnamon.

Blend until smooth. The frozen banana gives ice-cream texture; the walnuts add 4g protein, 2.5g omega-3, and a depth of flavour protein powders can't replicate.

5. Macadamia and dried mango rice paper rolls

Serves 2 | 15 minutes

Ingredients: 6 rice paper wrappers, 40g Honey Roasted Macadamia (broken), 30g Dried Mango Strips, half an avocado sliced, fresh mint and basil, lime.

Soak rice paper 20–30 seconds, fill with mango, macadamia, avocado and herbs, roll firmly. Serve with soy, lime juice and chilli dipping sauce. The macadamia adds buttery richness; the mango adds sweetness.
